Barbara Elliott serves as the Clinic Manager at Occupational Medicine Physicians, bringing nearly 50 years of healthcare experience, including 30 years as a nurse practitioner. She holds a Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, and Master’s Degree in Nursing with completion of the Nurse Practitioner Program.
Board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, she has held multiple leadership roles, including Director of Emergency Department Services and various teaching positions. Having worked alongside Dr. Dennis McClain for more than 30 years, she offers extensive expertise in occupational medicine and remains dedicated to providing exceptional patient-centered care and promoting workplace health.
She is also the winner of the Coleman Research Award for her paper, “How Does the Use of Nurse Case Management Affect the Level of Satisfaction and Recovery Rate of Injured Workers.”
Outside of work, Barbara enjoys crafting, shopping, and mission work, and loves spending time with her husband, Jim, and their two Labrador Retrievers.
